About the artist
Studio Serpentine can be found basking in the sun in Los Angeles, California. The studio is a design and architecture practice that creates deeply personal spaces and creatures for the home. Founded by Melissa Anderson and still having fun creating unexpected experiences and joy.
Melissa grew up in rural Kansas with no cell service on a small farm. She holds a Master’s degree in Architecture and is a licensed architect. As a designer, she considers the full experience of a space—from the volume and quality of light that is perceived, to the material and form of the doorknob when entering a room.
