JONALDDUDD is an independently organized exhibition of design-based works that prioritize personal expression and formal exploration over commercial conformity. Set against the backdrop of NYC Design Week (May 16-23), JONALDDUDD offers a platform for artists and designers making irreverent works that challenge both industry and cultural conventions.

We are excited to announce the beginning of our new guest curator program. In our unending quest to present the most outlandish design-based works, JONALDDUDD is now partnering with artists and designers whose work and attitude further amplifies the show’s contrarian ethos.
With that in mind we are pleased to present this year’s Guest Curator, Charles Constantine – the creative director and co-founder of Bestcase, a New York based design and manufacturing studio.
2024 Guidelines
Eligibilty
Designers/artists are invited to submit up to three pieces for consideration:
- Works of all mediums will be considered
- Work that has been previously shown at NYC Design Week is ineligible
- Only recent work created within the last three years is eligible (2021-24)
Submissions
2024 submissions are open from February 5th—April 5th, 2024.
All submissions are due by MIDNIGHT APRIL 5th (EST).
- Early submission fee: $25 (until midnight March 20th)
- Later submission fee: $35 (March 21st—April 5th)
Exhibiting
- Selected participants will be responsible for shipping their work to and from NYC.
- An exhibition fee of $150 per person/studio is due within 24 hours of receiving your invitation to exhibit in order to confirm your participation. All fees go directly to the production and promotion of the exhibition.
