About the artist
Jed Heuer is an artist who lives in Germantown, NY and has a studio in Brooklyn. His work explores the amount of function a sculptural object can hold through themes of nonsense, humor, and absurdity. Forms are often assembled from a combination of lamp parts and other specific objects. Materials are flipped, tied together, piled upon, rearranged, and mismatched with everyday products to create new constructions.
