About the artist
Sam is a recent graduate from the University of Cincinnati’s DAAP Industrial Design program. From furnishings and home goods to emotions and spaces, his work focuses on bringing design to the material world by turning “unreal” expectations into physical realities. The Denim Windsor is a traditionally constructed Windsor chair made entirely of denim. This chair started as an “unreal” idea that manifested into a physical product. It served as the control for Sam’s senior thesis, Fabric Furniture.
