About the artist

Teddy Breedlove is a New York City–based textile artist with a background in Furniture and Surface Design from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD, 2021). His work reimagines textiles as an "alternative canvas," crafting bold, statement pieces that exist at the intersection of art and design. With a deep interest in the dynamic interplay between self and space, Teddy explores how our environments mirror our inner worlds—how the spaces we inhabit, whether intimate or public, are not merely passive backdrops but active participants in shaping our emotional and psychological experiences. Through thoughtful material choices—favoring responsibly sourced, high-quality deadstock leathers and textiles—Teddy creates pieces that elevate the everyday. His work encourages reflection on how we curate our surroundings and how those surroundings, in turn, shape who we are.
