About the artist

Estelle Bourdet, a Swiss-Swedish hand weaver based in Norway. Trained in Fine Arts at ECAL in Switzerland and furthered her textile expertise at Capellagården in Sweden, Estelle redefines inhabited spaces through functional and non-functional objects, weaving authentic materials for daily life. She blends traditional handcraft with contemporary design, merging domestic concepts, sustainability, and slow production. Using up-cycled materials and handmade dyes, each unique piece is handwoven in her studio, embodying a lifestyle of mixing, cultivating, harvesting, and reusing.
