About the artist

Chris Beeston is an artist from North Carolina, currently working in Brooklyn, New York. Following a period centered on geometric sculptures in traditional media, his interest has expanded towards functional objects like lamps, stereos, and various hybrid electronics. His lamps frequently reuse dollar store food containers and other household decorations, often combined with gemstones and custom 3D printed parts. His fascination with home goods highlights a belief that modern consumers, surrounded by factory-made appliances, desire deeper emotional connections with handmade objects. His work has been exhibited at Patrick Parrish Gallery, International Objects, and The Hole.
